The Friars has a well established conference centre hosting seminars and conferences for a wide selection of businesses and other bodies including local government, health authorities and charities.

Full conference facilities are available and there are several varying sized rooms for hire with options for refreshment and catering requirements. All rooms have natural daylight and are situated on the ground floor. Included in the booking are:

Conference Rooms to Hire
Conference Centre
This large room consists of a welcome lobby, coffee and bar area, a main room to seat up to 120 people and two break-out rooms. The conference centre is our showcase function room and is located near the beautiful grounds by the banks of the River Medway.
Room hire is £450 per day
St Thérèse
This room can take up to 60 theatre style. Other layouts are possible when requested. (pictured left). Room hire is £230 per day
Patrick Geary
This room seats up to 40 people in a variety of layouts.
Room hire is £160 per day
St Albert
This room can take up to 20 people in varying layouts.
Room hire is £150 per day
Thomas Walden
This beautiful room seats up to 15 people with an informal layout and is suitable for small groups - Perfect for retreats and mindfulness groups. Room hire is £140 per day
